International Youth Sports Village

I belived in my heart that a similar program for yourth basketball based in the Chicago Land area could be enormously succesful for the developer and more importantantly as a life changing event for the youth participants. OSF Health Care Systems
Following successful completion of our initial engagement, the client further engaged The Buckley Companies to negotiate the acquisition of property necessary to accomplish the plan, work with contractors to accurately determine cost, coordinate and collaborate with appropriate architects to begin the design of the physical facilities, undertake government entitlement and solicit economic contributions from the local community.
Blue City Holdings, LLC - Part 125 Aviation Operation
In cooperation with the client’s other consultants, Buckley provided logistical back office support for the operations including automated systems with the FAA, Home Land Security and the U.S. Department of Transportation. While this was a highly unique project, Buckley’s team stepped up, identified the issues, and searched out relevant expertise required, teamed with consultants and managed the project. The aircraft were kept flying throughout the process of building the aviation division. Flight crews, mechanics, hangers, certifications, flight scheduling, trip planning and international landing permits where all part of the learning curve required in this exciting project. Ultimately Buckley helped its client build a fully functional and stand alone Aviation Company receive its own Part 125 Certificate. Buckley’s role was complete but the client has asked Buckley to stay on in a consultative capacity. Buckley Companies was hired by Wheaton Christian Grammar School to provide Owner’s Representative services for the construction of a new building. Our team was responsible for all project communications, collaboration and oversight. Our services include creation of an online collaborative workspace, implementation of a project communication plan, site visits, monitoring the overall budget and schedule, value engineering recommendations and providing monthly project reports. As part of our review and recommendations on the project, the idea of geothermal energy arose. Although geothermal systems are typically cost-prohibitive, with our assistance, Wheaton Christian Grammar School was awarded a grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation to assist in covering the costs of its state-of-the-art geothermal system. 
A private developer retained Nicolosi & Associates, LLC and its affiliate, The Buckley Companies, LLC ("TBC') to evaluate the site planning and public / private funding options for the construction of a $50,000,000 facility to operate its youth sports program. CH Johnson Consulting ("CHJ") was retained by the public agencies to evaluate the market feasibility of the proposed program and identify the necessary program attributes. Working together, TBC and Nicolosi & Associates, LLC, developed site plans for two contemplated locations and identified the ideal financing structure (Historical Tax Credits, Special Event taxes and Business Development District). In addition, the team analyzed the use of Special Taxing Districts for the project, including the eligibility of the project for a Special Taxing District, anticipated revenue to be generated and the possible use of this revenue in accordance with applicable law. As the project was contemplated to require public involvement, we assisted the developer in pursuing negotiations with key public sector individuals and assisted in the creation of materials for public dissemination. Ultimately, based on the collective input from TBC, Nicolosi & Associates, LLC and CHJ, the developer determined that the idea was indeed feasible, and is currently pursuing the program with the public sector participants.
The Buckley Companies was initially hired by OSF Health Care Systems to provide Master Planning for one of its seven regional campuses. Working with other professionals selected by the client, the plan called for a new physical plant, parking facilities, storm water detention solutions, ring roads, beatification and image enhancements, a new Intensive Care facility and a new state of the art Bed Tower.
In this highly unusual project, Buckley was asked to help a family office build and develop an aviation division to operate its fleet of aircraft which included a 767 and 757 aircraft. Buckley teamed with Elan Express who held an FAA Part 125 certificate required for the operation of these aircraft within the continental United States.
